Enjoy these two really quick sauce recipes that go great with any type of pasta! One is a cream-based pasta sauce, very similar to Alfredo sauce. The other is a tomato-based sauce, which makes a basic but great tasting spaghetti sauce, for example.
For the cream sauce, I added some Genoa salami and Porcini mushrooms for added flavor, but these are NOT required.
Cream Sauce Ingredients
- Heavy Cream
- Oil (Sunflower oil preferred)
- Chopped Garlic
- 2% or whole milk
- Italian seasoning or oregano
- Salt & Pepper
- Parmesan cheese
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
For the tomato sauce, I used cherry tomatoes as a fresh and tasty garnish. This is not required, though.
